The loot is quicker to get but it also pretty much doubled the chances of duplicate exotics. It is missing something also compared to the first, patrols this time around feel like chores more than anything too.
A lot of people complained about year 1 destiny WHILE they were enjoying themselves and playing the shit out of it. I think bungie listened to the fans but the fans didnt really know what they wanted.

Besides lack of story until Taken King I loved all of it. I do miss collecting dead ghosts and feel the old tower looked better. Most were looking for any excuse to complain which some were reasonable but I could not stop playing until the day before D2 launched
