right now the home page is just recommended stuff. subscriptions are in a separate tab. It's a lot of the reason why people don't even realize they're not subscribed in the first place. I think this shelf would be great

Yeah possibly so, I feel like so many videos wouldn't get watched in a shelf though because of the limited space, assuming people get in the habit of checking them there

yeah. if this gives people who ALREADY click the sub tab incentive to NOT click it anymore, that'd be bad. It'd be good for the people who DON'T already click the sub tab. It will be interesting to see if the positives outweigh the negatives
