So glad you have visited Jon - last year they achieved 100% in Reading, despite serious disadvantage. One of the most effective schools in the country; an example in my view of what every child should be entitled to... it can be done. And - lovely, warm-hearted people! @son1bun

I have been a head at the same school for almost 9 years. The thing that stood out on talking to to a visiting head yesterday is that none of the real improvements were quick fixes. True improvement takes time. Making it stick takes time , focus, commitment and staying power.
