    ✏️ In 2017/18, the ten highest-funded schools in the country were all in Greater London, receiving between £6,003.47 and £6,965.12 per pupil per year, whereas schools in York received only £4,162.98 per pupil. ⚖️ We need to end this disparity in spending.

    😡 Yorkshire’s transport networks are failing. 🚦 Be it congested roads, overcrowded trains or the fact that Yorkshire’s largest city - Leeds - is the biggest city in Europe to have no mass-transit system, Westminster underinvestment is letting our region down.

    I don't normally take the kid out canvassing, but just had my last few leaflets to do near to home last night where everyone knows us anyway. Have to say my heart nearly exploded when he was telling random people "vote for my mummy!" 😭😭😭

    Please Vote Yorkshire Party for Yorkshire to get its fair share of transport investment & education funding. I also pledge to do everything I can to protect the greenbelt & build starter homes, retirement homes & social housing on brownfield sites with supporting infrastructure.

    🔌 London has more than four times as many electric car charging points than Yorkshire. 🚗 The Yorkshire Party will triple the number of electric car charging points across Yorkshire within the next 18 months. Yorkshire deserves better on transport.

    😡 Conservative and Labour governments have repeatedly failed Yorkshire on transport. For every £1 spent in London, Yorkshire only receives 10p! 🚆 Yorkshire deserves better on transport.
