“Common sense gun control” always ends up with the ultimate goal of either limiting or restricting law abiding citizens rights. The government can’t even handle the background checks they do now and people want to increase that bureaucracy.

Please cite this evidence. Govt studies show that a minimum of 100,000 people a yr use a gun to defend themselves or their property.
Other surveys, by multiple research groups show a larger number.
