. calls me a “pain in the neck” & says I “scream a lot.” After I asked about super PAC supporting him and whether he’d discourage his supporters from contributing to it? He said “no.” He then told & critics to “watch” for his grassroots support.

  2. In NH is now reading criticism off teleprompter about ’ support of M4A. Says Sanders has been pushing single payer system for 30 years and “hasn’t moved an inch.”

  3. Senior adviser says Biden precincts captains said the IA app was “not working.” She added that some campaigns are “cherry picking” their internal numbers

  4. The big Q the campaign has with the lack of Iowa results is w/the paper preference sheets. Biden advisers tell me if the party cannot verify that *every caucus-goer* filled these out every time then they cant be confident in the full results.

  5. Well with no results: I’m declaring Bill the big winner in Iowa as he safely drove the Biden press bus around the state for 9 days...and his fav team won the Super Bowl, too!

  6. Still no IA results...but 24 of the 25 precinct captains I spoke w/tonight say he was at least viable in their Des Moines-area precincts. Many of them told me the supporters were more "aggressive" in wrangling supporters in the room.

  7. Biden surrogate Sen. Chris Dodd said validity of the IA results is now in question: “If this is wrong what else is wrong?” “On to New Hampshire,” he said cheerfully.

  8. . says he is confident he is going to walk out of Iowa with “our share of delegates” “It’s going to be close,” he added ⁦

  9. 8 of 9 Des Moines-based precinct captains say he was viable in their districts and was pretty evenly split. In one precinct a captain walked in and saw a "wall" of signs. She yelled "WTF!" and drove to get more signs. Biden not viable there.

  10. . camp in Iowa has had a deep bench of surrogates: Dr. Biden, Sec. Kerry, Vilsacks, both IA Dem congresswoman + a slew of congressional endorsers. The campaign has sent them to small rural towns...and they're waiting for those precincts to come in:

  11. Des Moines watch: has been up since the early morning TV hours and still appears to be in good spirits as she fluffed me with her scarf as she passed me as I got ready for this. Biden camp sources say they've prepared themselves for a win to 4th place.

  12. "We're gonna survive all the way through this thing," tells when asked about the potential of not getting first place tonight in Iowa. On the way into his field office he was asked if he is going to win tonight: "I hope so!"

  15. OK, so Kerry says no 2020... But what did he mean about taking “down the Democratic Party — down whole”? Is this what Sanders means when he says the Democratic establishment is getting worried?

  19. A bit of color on Biden’s Iowa crowds: John Kerry referencing 79-year-old Speaker Pelosi: “70 is the new 50!” And it’s a standing ovation.

  20. John Kerry was a bulldog closer for today and got a lot of laughs ripping Trump. (He said the president’s bone spurs will come back if Joe is nominee) One undecided voter after said Kerry “overshadowed” Biden, which made him “sad”

  21. 3 days to Iowa caucus and it’s still very unpredictable: 📞My new $30 gas station phone charger doesn’t work 🏘The neighboring apartments (for which Im NEVER at) are flooding 📊Oh and the polls are very, very tight
