I used to go to a lot of academic conferences. It really woke me up to how difficult it is to get research funding - and there is a LOT we don’t know because the researchers can’t get funding.

All this proves is that mainstream scientists care more about their funding than they do ethical concerns or even real scientific rigor. Sorry if I'm not surprised.
