    What's wrong with trying to elevate coverage of oneself?

    Randomly challenging people who are much higher on the political totem pole than you to debate (knowing they 100% won’t accept) is nothing new on the right. Ted Cruz has been doing it for years. The challenge is intended to elevate media coverage of themselves.

    What's worse is they won't even actually redefine it. They just vaguely indicate some new meaning.

    I have to wake up tomorrow and do a moving job. I only do 4 or 5 a month now because I make a few bucks writing. But I really love the work. I like the guys I work with and I like accomplishing something. It's a unique and wonderful pleasure.

    I'm not sure Nadler does. And lo and behold it doesn't happen. Amazing...

    A) I’m not a staff writer for any journal; b) Every liberal and leftist in NY state supports election and voting reform, opposes gerrymandered districts, including Nadler’s. You know that, right? Do you get that Iowa is neutral, favors nether party?

    You and I are perfect example. Why am I referring you to model legislation from the ? And rather than accuse me of cynicism, why aren’t you agreeing with me and saying, “Yeah, let’s create a totally fair playing fielld.”? I’m happy to eliminate Nadier’s edge.

    You really don’t get this do you? Yes, Dems play the game—but **they will agree to stop under fair rules if the Rs do too.** But they won’t. Every piece of legislation on the subject is sponsored by Ds—why do think that is?
