I was fortunate to play a show with him some years back in atl and he was such a sweet and genuine dude. His health was pretty bad even then but he still proceeded to get on stage and annilate his set without even moving. One of the most impressive live sets I ever saw.

Man, shit. RIP Gift of gab. Dude was an innovative legend and blazed a trail for a lot of mcs. He WAS underground indy rap before that was even a thing.
