A man of great strength and grace. As talented a musician as he was an actor. The epitome of class. An sudden unexpected sharp painful grief for our artistic family. An unimaginable suffering for his personal family and loved ones. Godspeed my friend. You made your mark here. RIP

The respectable conservative legal types told me this was a real example of religious liberty under attack. They said former SG Paul Clement would never misrepresent facts. They said the Court’s opinion was well-considered. None of these seems to be true.

What a moonset in #Pittsburgh tonight. The crescent moon set perfectly behind the Duquesne Incline, and a little bit of haze above Mt. Washington added the perfect mood to the image. It doesn't matter how many times I capture this scene, it's always one of my favorites.

The spectacular weeping cherry in my neighbor's yard is dropping it's first yellowed leaves. My tomatoes ripen around the same time each year.

It's swarm season here in #Asheville. If you see a cluster of honeybees like this, don't spray them! Tweet at me and I will come get them and give them a hive to live in. Swarms can be on tree limbs, fenceposts, lightpoles, in bushes...usually 5-15 feet off the ground.
