In this case, there should be legal repercussions. What he did is punishable up to 6 months in jail or a $1000 fine
I mean sure, he’ll take the $1,000 fine, but he’ll gain so much more money overall for this stunt he did. First time offenders don’t do jail time, since it can be argued it was a mistake, however dumb it was. So he’s likely thrilled.
