If you’re talking about Dany, there was actually a legitimate, inherited reason that has been foreshadowed since the dawn of the first season. It has nothing to do with gender. She’s always been hot-tempered and overly ready to burn those alive who disagree with her.
And honestly, I’m not sure what else you were expecting after she left her peaceful, meaningful life in Eros to pursue a greedy, power-hungry quest for a random iron throne on the other side of the world.

Also fwiw, story-wise a decision can “make sense”, but there is definitely a frustrating trend of taking fictional women who experienced serious trauma and writing their story into turning evil or insane, which is what I was lamenting about, specifically in this case in WoW.
