Coding at 28,000 feet on an iPad over a mosh connection. The future is pretty neat (and pretty cramped).

Have you ever considered attaching your Raspberry Pi 4 to an Apple iPad Pro? How would you do it, and why would you want to? In today's blog post, Tech Craft explains why Raspberry Pi 4 is their favourite iPad Pro accessory, how they use the two together:

Yep, that did it alright ;) also took me a while to get the “§” key remapped to ESC Key but its done already. Custom Presses to the rescue. Thanks for a great tool.

Been using my ipad with to ssh into my server for local development for the past year. I was skeptical at first but that setup has been amazing. At times I even forget that I am not using a Laptop. Big highlight of the app is the ability to remap ESC key

Found this pic. Sometime in 2016 working on the CAPS code for Blink, while using Blink. iPad Air 2 with a Magic Keyboard. Beers around, probably a beach too. That was the point of the iPad + Blink right? Dogfooding to make sure the experience was right!

My fav iOS ssh and mosh shell has finally fixed all types of SSH keys that I have in use. It’s near perfect now!

💯!!! It's something I've been trying to get to fix in their iOS app for years (sadly, they're not interested in supporting plain text). I've ended up mostly using mutt, running on a remote server, accessed through .

As a Xmas present to myself, I updated my remote working environment with a fresh new server (Ubuntu 19.10) and fresh configs for Tmux & Vim. I was using same configs for tmux and vim for years now and they were overdue an update. Here is how it looks like when I work on iPad.

The latest iPadOS update has reintroduced the ”sticky” command/shift key bug when switching apps and its infuriating. The only public mention I can find is this issue on ’s GitHub

You can clip an Apple Magic Keyboard 2 into this $20 magnetic origami stand that folds down for travel. Cellular iPad mini 5 + + a real kbd w/esc key = pretty decent ultralight travel rig.

We need your help!! Our latest TF is out. We got Caps back and many more treats!! To do so, we had to cut very deep and do a full rewrite so we need your help to make sure everything is in place, specially on international keyboards. Thanks!!

the ipad pro's usb-c port finally makes this viable: * raspberry pi zero connected as usb ethernet gadget and powered on the same port * can connect to it using <pi name>.local without having to scan for an IP address

Figuring out Mosh with Blink shell for iPad was the life changer that made this awesome tablet a great remote dev device! Love it

A Pi tethered to iPad using USB-C, this certainly feels incredible.
