Clinicians who describe themselves as “allies” of trans and who support transition in every case are actually allies of the disorder and not allies of the patient.

Dr. Blanchard, please, social transition, also known as the "Real Life Test" is the only reliable means of differentiating those whose GD will relent using medical intervention from those who further intervention is unwarranted. Talk Therapy alone is not very effective.

Let us not forget the transsexual persons, still in Therapy, and for whom medical intervention had no significant effect on mental distress. The question is not only to determine if Therapy is effective but also to determine if irreversible transition/affirmation may really be.

They are simply scoring points with the 'woke' crowds. If things turned against the trans ideaology, they will turn against it too. Zero principles, zero values.

I just read today that the person who developed the prefrontal lobotomy got a Nobel prize. Allies are promoting coping mechanisms, sterilizing ones, over psychological help. Compassion is one thing, promotion quite another.
