When you say "for selected patients", how prevalent generally do you think these select patients are among the pool of patients, if you had to guess?
I believe that transsexual syndromes are psychiatric disorders AND I believe that sex reassignment is the best treatment for selected patients AND I believe that society should make any accommodations for transsexuals that do not impinge on the rights of others.

You can believe all of that and still be appalled by the workings of "Transgender Clinics" which have turned "transgender medicine" from an inquiry into a profit center.

The way they are being treated by doctors, businesses, and organizations that do nothing that helps should be shunned by society and that if someone wants to be trans they should know that begins and ends with them and no one is obligated to agree with them or anyone else ever.
