This is just patently not true. Hormone treatments are prescribed to under-16s to treat everything from early onset puberty to intersex conditions to issues with menstruation. It's a standard procedure used all over the world for decades. The alternative to going straight to hormones just in case someone will change their mind (less than 1% do). And kids can get same blockers for precocious puberty below the age of 10 and no one has a problem.

Delaying precocious puberty is not the same as completely preventing puberty that occurs at the correct age.
