Ugh, what is it with British TERFs? There are a bunch of 'left-wing' people I've grown up respecting for their fight against injustice and inequality but now they're openly transphobic. It's borderline cultish they way they spend their days tweeting hatred against trans folx.

Almost all the major TERFy stuff I hear about is from the UK. I know it's elsewhere but it's PARTICULARLY the UK. What is going on over there?

I've no idea - it tends to be a middle class, white, 'socialist' type that have adopted it as an identity. There's a large presence within the Scottish independence community (Wings, Joanna Ch*rry, people with in their names.) It feels very cultish.

It definitely is some manner of cult, especially when we hear about a person literally threatening to end their own life as a twisted attempt to make a transwoman look bad.
