In Hades I can consistently reach the last boss (I assume), only to get my butt kicked immediately.

I got up to the second stage last time, but I'm worried my reflexes aren't good enough. Will keep trying though!
Range weapons are generally easier (at least for me), you can just stay away from them.

Oh yeah, agreed. Melee weapons SUCK for the area just before the last boss anyway. It's hard to hit the giant rats with them without getting poisoned.
