And in response to A) people aren’t in equal financial situations and shouldn’t be treated as such in emergency situations. I’d love an extra $2k but there are people and groups in far greater need than me (and I’m far from rich)
Read about principles of UBI. Also, cost of deciding who gets it, who doesn't is much greater of benefit of saving it from minority that doesn't need it. And if someone don't want it there will be easy ways to redirect it which is exactly what Sanders proposed.
