An MSP just tried to effectively ban the word cisgender from Parliament. I know & respect that some people don't accept it or identify with it, and I used it yesterday in a way which positively reflected that. Biology uses those terms in the same way, ie when discussing how molecules react in the human body. I'm sure you will have heard of trans fats and how bad they are for human health. PS gender has got nothing to do with biology
