I'm CIS straight male, so I recognise my ignorance. That said: gender & sex are different. Gender is behaviour, Sex is biological. Behaviour is fluid so so is gender. I don't know if 'they' is how you address the behavioural assumptions created by 'he' & 'she' but it's something.

There are 2 aspects of "they":
1) The context I was referring to, i.e. a way to avoid gendering assumptions in society.
2) How any INDIVIDUAL chooses to self-identify which is NONE of my concern.26 vastausta 1 uudelleentwiittaus 108 tykkäystäNäytä tämä ketju -

Que?? It was a lot simpler when I was a youngster. All teenagers were equally confused because there was only one of two boxes you could fit into. Many didn’t and that was ok as long as you kept your business to yourself. Now it’s all classifying and labels. And more new labels.

As long as you kept business to yourself meaning you hiding your identity to the point of self destruction, severe depression and sometimes suicide?
