Obviously not. But you either write that you leave by your own will, or they fire you, which is worse. No matter the outcome, you eat shit. Even if you want to go through legal stuff, it just costs time and energy, as well as money, which are all valuable for depressed people.
No one will write that you're fired because of mental illness, but it is very easy for an employer to make your work conditions unbearable and then fire you for being bad at work. Of course, you can go in court, but our court system is fucked. And yes, it costs money and time.
