I’m not overly obsessed with eating meat, but I do think that a healthy diet does involve some meat. I also think we eat far too much of it and should reduce consumption but in order to create enough crops to sustain us would have huge impact in other areas and to other species.
I'm glad you see we need to reduce consumption. To add to your point meat is not necessary in healthy diet. Also, most of crops are used to feed animals. We need far less crops then currently if we cut animals from the chain.
