From what I understand even before Brexit the NHS was under threat because of austerity to try and restore the economics of free market capitalism. Don't get me wrong I love what that system and money can buy me, but unfettered we are all f*cked as it comes crashing down
Study after study show that austerity was completely unnecessary... NHS gone from being profitable to having big problems because they wanted it... Never let conservatives near healthcare.
