It’s more about individual video content & its target audience, rather than a video’s general category (e.g. gaming or cartoons). This is why, in addition to our systems, creators will self designate their content as made for kids. More specific examples: https://yt.be/help/pE5Q

There is a difference between kids content and child friendly. It's like the different levels of watching Sesame Street and Rugrats. Both are for kids but they target kids at different stages. This is meant to target those that target the earlier stages of kids.
