  5. If you think you need A&E but don't need to call 999, contact NHS 111 first online or by phone. The expert call handlers will be able to make sure you get the most appropriate service. If you need to go to A&E they will arrange a time slot for.

  14. As lockdown restrictions ease please don't fall back in to old habits. Unless you need 999 you should use NHS 111 first 💻 📞 before going to A&E or to the Urgent Treatment/walk-in centres. You will be given a timeslot at the most appropriate place for your need.
