What y'all "Not All Men" idiots need to understand is that, yes, it IS all men. That's the reality women/woman presenting people have to live every day. EVERY man is a potential threat, even friends and family. You don't like being seen that way? Then fucking listen and do better

I get where you are coming from, but the point I'm making is that because of how society raises men, despite any of them being harmless and having good intentions, a woman never knows for sure. And they experience harassment and danger every day from so many men they encounter

It's good that you don't have to deal with the same trauma that many others have to go through. The point of us being against the phrase "not all men" is because even if a man isn't commiting assault or sexually harrassing they will turn a blind eye to their buddies.

also, anyone who throws out “not all men” as kneejerk response is fundamentally missing two points: a) women are aware not EVERY man is the same level of god awful b) you are making the issue about you, and not about the people who are suffering
