That's my goal and I'm trying to think of ways I can do that. I'm sure I'll mess up, but doing actionable work is the only way white people can help fix our broken system.

I acknowledge this, appreciate you saying it, & pledge to do so. I’ve been working w/ voting rights & transit organizers, calling out racism & supporting Black candidates. But I know that it’s going to take creative outreach to winnable whites to get them to reject racism, too.

As much as I tried reasoning with them, I never made a dent in my parents' racist attitudes. I think (with a few exceptions) racism dies with the racist. The most important thing we CAN do is to NOT RAISE MORE RACISTS.

In other words, most of the old people are a lost cause, but the younger generations, it's important that they aren't tainted by the older generations' prejudices.
