Would it be ethical to buy a Tesla car using profits shorting stock?

If you invested $100k in stock when IPOed, today you would have $250k in your bank account and free 2020 Model X on your driveway.

What a scumbag move🤮🤬👎🏼 Instead of partnering with & promote healthy lifestyle, these assholes promoting alcoholic beverages & their unethically low priced exploitation service! They’re asking consumers to be smart, by suggesting to be stupid

It’s not a secret that Uber & Lyft as well as other alike services treat their drivers with utmost disrespect by continuously lowering the rates. However customers aka riders keep demanding limo type of service in exchange for unethically low fraction of the price, stars & badges

UBER = SUBHUMAN Guess why? Because people that use the service (such as , , , etc.) realize it is so dirt cheap that only the lowest level of society aka slaves will do it for a fraction of the price therefore they don’t even deserve to use bathroom

I'm beginning to think companies like and might just be houses of cards built completely on exploitation. Their model only works if you exploit your workforce and pay way below min wage. Scary to think about this staggering level of dysfunction. /

It was a complete fantasy that suddenly everyone could afford a private driver, servants fetching food, and assistants running errands without workers being exploited AND simultaneously creating multi-billion dollar gig-app companies. Complete fucking fantasy.

Typical verbal diarrhea from careless Uber support out in Philippines 🇵🇭 Guess why? Because they are treated by the 60 billion dollar monster even worse than the drivers!

The interaction debases us both. To put each individual patron in charge of someone's livelihood is simply inhuman, in the most literal sense. Reducing the worker to a non-person. And being thrust into that role of judgement is profoundly saddening and alienating.

While on the topic of working for tips or app ratings, I frequently get this horror reel running in my mind with all the workers I've dealt with who had to put on that fake, cheery, appearance in service of these nasty carrots and brutal sticks. The quivering of their humanity.

This techno utopia bullshit is a neoliberal fantasy. Self-driving cars are DECADES into the future, at best. How about we deal with the destitution of today, and then when fantasyland arrives, we consider how to share the spoils then?

Have you ever thought about how you can suddenly afford having an army of servants driving you around, getting your food, and running your errands? The prime innovation in the gig economy is to bring back the oldest trick in the book: exploitation.

Any gig-worker app that cannot make the business model work while paying $15/hour (after expenses!), basic benefits, vacation time, and family leave should not exist. Running a modern-day serf economy behind a slick UI is disgraceful.
