"parents are responsible to make health choices for their children”.. What babies do you know that are having sex, because that's the majority of 'health benefits' you believe. There's also a lot of health detriments to infant circumcision you ignore.

More than would benefit a male child at that age. The only one that would actually be beneficial is genital infections, which circumcised or not I've rarely known a boy to get if not an STD. But that's anecdotal. Either way, it's too debatable about how much circumcision helps to

take away agency from a person, especially when it certainly has serious problems it can pose health wise such as loss of genitals, which is more common than people realize. Looking out for the child's health, physical and mental, it makes more sense to not do it than to do it.

If you focus purely on health, yes it could make sense to wait until their are old enough to choose for themselves. There are health benefits besides sexual, like genital skin infections and bacteria buildup being at lower risk, but, regular cleaning could prevent that.

With the improvement of modern technology and medicines, it’s not very common for a first world infant male to lose their genitals. But, that being said, some places that practice circumcision aren’t first world, in which case they won’t care or know about our Twitter convo

There are pros and cons to both. The parents make health choices for their children. Like a child born with extra fingers and toes will have them surgically removed at infants because their parents wanted them to be removed, without the consent of the baby.

In the end, most who circumcise do it for religious reasons as opposed to health reasons, and that’s on them. I plan to circumcise my boys because of my beliefs, and it does have benefits besides that too.

This is false and most people have it done standard in the hospital no matter their religion. I don't know why you're arguing so hard for benefits that aren't really there when it honestly doesn't matter for your case because of implied religious beliefs though.

Either way, we're clearly getting nowhere, you clearly aren't going to look beyond what you want to believe despite others sources. Your pinned tweet says you want to have good time and not be political which you're failing at, and I don't want that for you, and I want sleep.

This isn’t political??? I’m not talking about trump VS Hillary, I’m not talking about our ties with Russia. This is a social issue, not a political issue. I have no use arguing with someone who cannot distinguish even that. Goodnight, I hope you sleep well

I have no use arguing with someone who can't even distinguish that there's socio-political issues and the topic of circumcision is widely considered one of them. Plenty of social issues bleed into politics, like gay marriage. Have a nice life & God willing, only female children.

Social is not always social political. At the present moment, circumcision is not bleeding into politics because it isn’t being focused on the way gun control or birth control is. But good try. I’ll be sure to have a son, just for you
