There is no melting of ice if temps never go above 1C...the arctic will not be ice free, no matter how much they try to sell us the warming catastrophe.

Bjorn, you may not know this is NOT observational data. It is output of a climate model that constantly needs to be "nudged" back on track using the scanty data we have for the arctic. In other words, it says nothing about the real world, and everything about ModelWorld. w.
