As I am partly in the adaption business I can't see why a 2 degree target would make me do less adoption... we all see the projections.
I'm sure it won't make you do less adaptation (thanks!), but the conversation is whether stronger focus on 2°C makes policymakers and others less likely to fund adaptation, which I think is incontrovertible.

@cwhope said, adaptation and mitigation are separate policy domains. The erroneous assumption underlying the idea that more money for mitigation means less for adaptation (or the other way around, which others are concerned about) is that climate policy is a zero-sum game. - Näytä vastaukset
