Love your work Bjorn! Private sector innovation has, & will, far exceed that of the public sector for wind & solar. Business has incentives to lower costs. Public sector research for better zero emission Nuclear base load capacity much needed b/c business gave up on nuclear.
Slashing electric vehicle subsidies isn't too bad. But dumping renewable energy R&D is like throwing the baby out with the bathwater.

Slashing subsidies, rebates, to electric cars is wrong headed on the short term. We’re getting closer to a sweet spot where competition drives prices down and enhance technology but before that materializes it’s premature to drop rebates.
