The quest for headlines leads the media to scour for the most outrageous "news". While it may not reflect the views of the majority of responsible climate scientists, it manages to discredit the majority when unproven cause-effect hypotheses are prematurely publicized.
Jumping the gun and blaming climate change for today’s crises attracts attention, but it makes us focus on the costliest and least effective responses.

Bjorn, record crop yields in 2017, there is no shortage of food. Large percentage of crop turned into expensive and unnecessary biofuel. The wasted money and the grain could be used to feed the world.
