Interesting take, thanks! It sounds like you would support a cheap approach (nuclear)? It also sounds like you don't feel skeptics should feel responsible if it turns out you're wrong?
Take Kyoto, which I argued against. Since it had zero impact (http://www.sciencedirect.com/science/article/pii/S0095069616304296 …) there are no extra climate damages to take responsibility for. Cost dropped from >$2tr to ~$1tr ⇒ more resources for other pressing concerns. I happily take some small responsibility for that
