11/n) I suspect it dates back to colonial and oil crisis times, when the single goal of energy policy was to plunder or secure resources.

12/n) Now primary energy figures are mainly used to heap ridicule on the potential for renewable energy to scale. When you see them, beware!

13/n) Finally, @BjornLomborg knows all this. Whether wind & solar are 16% or 35% of power by 2040, why mock a clean, cheap source of power?
