Australian bushfire normalized: no trend. More houses close to bush fire hazard, not climate. https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=10152079361433968 …pic.twitter.com/ETo4b7WeXn

@djmer1 Dear Darren. Sorry, spelling with capital letters don't make it a peer reviewed study. Best, bjorn http://sciencepolicy.colorado.edu/admin/publication_files/2010.41.pdf …
@BjornLomborg I'll look but property loss didn't come into it, I don't see why it would. More live near bush and we fight fire differently.
@BjornLomborg Most I read speak of fuel loads, soil moisture, all sorts of things. How is property loss relevant I don't see but I'll read
@BjornLomborg That's only one, hardly matches the 18 or more I read. I bet I can find 50 pointing to climate influence on fire, Got more?
.@BjornLomborg The point in all I saw was fire happening more frequently and fire season starting earlier, not accountable to other causes.
.@BjornLomborg That confirms my point about there being climate change and it impacting fire. You're talking property loss not fire maybe
.@BjornLomborg I know there's less chance of property loss by fire in many places. We wouldn't want to read the wrong thing into that.
