Still many unanswered questions. Such as did dissolution of the limestone the piers and foundations rested on become the ultimate cause. The cracks in the concrete may have been signs of the foundations subsiding.

Good read, tragic stuff. The page was a little finicky though, seems to want 1 px scroll vs 3 or whatever, jumpy. It makes you wonder how many structures are out there ready to go at a moments notice, buildings, bridges, etc.
