Nuclear runs 24/7 in any weather, including hurricanes, & emits no co2 nor makes us dependent on Russian gas. Despite all the chatter about doing the most economic thing to solve CC, you failed to mention that nuclear is a lot cheaper than renewable energy+storage. So here we are
