If we don't solve climate change by 2050 we are losing much more than 2.6% of gdp as the cost of SWB has not fallen as per Wright's Law or an even better outcome. There is a good possibility civilization is over.
Also at 0.15C/decade (Christy) the temp in 2100 in on course to be about 2.4C above baseline. And 2. impacts are nowhere near as severe as predicted.
