I’d be interested to see where UN says that US hurricanes and tornadoes have increased by xx times. Clearly if they stated that, it’s incorrect.

Yes. I was referring to the UN report. That’s why I’m looking for a clarification on UN tornado/ hurricane numbers.

1) UN says climate disasters 5x
2) based on frequency from Int'l database which is entirely driven by better reporting
3) US tornado&hurricane are examples of that: actual frequency 
, yet UN/EMDAT dramatically
