I follow you to break my echo chamber, but this jumps the shark. Saying global warming is +ve because < people die of the cold, is dumb. When you change the ecology, the 2nd order effects are going to be huge, and tech stopping heat deaths through aircon is frankly ridiculous.

Good! But still the talk is about how we can mitigate negative effects. I would like to see more discussion about the _positive_ effects of climate change. Surely there are quite a few? Increase crop yield and general plant growth, oasification, less storms and tornados etc

Most important thing here should really be that reliable and affordable energy supply limit weather related deaths. I see an increasing risk that electricity supply will not be able to meet demand on extreme cold/warm days in many places due to increasing share of renewables.
