Bjorn, it represents at most a nuissance, not an EXISTENTIAL threat. If it were existential, the government wouldn't tackle it. Global warming is managable and conflatable for the sake of profit of special interests which heat up the narrative.

The danger of net-zero policies are they are not founded in physics and reality. Just stating "net zero by 2050" without a highly detailed plan with extreme emphasis on logistical details is just fantasy legislature. We will find perhaps 10-20% reduction in CO2 by 2050. Max.

We have little chance of rationality as regards to climate change. Let’s just hope it is less serious a risk than the CC doomers believe. At worst case, we should be doing some things as a hedge but we are focused on the some of the least valuable/lowest return efforts.
