Irresponsible exaggerations about climate change are destroying our ability to make sensible decisions for the future. Instead of alarmism, let's focus on straight-forward, effective solutions for both climate change and other pressing global problems.https://www.forbes.com/sites/bjornlomborg/2021/05/20/pressing-pause-in-climate-alarmism-in-favor-of-smarter-solutions/ …

But then Twitter would cease to exist.

Här är en klok kille till skillnad från Greta, Wijkman, Rockström och de andra klimatclownerna.

Let’s also not pretend that “the market” will step up to solve the genuine issues that do exist. Government regulation is required - “the market” has had decades to change and hasn’t.

Care to name one such straightforward, effective solution? The most obvious, straightforward one in my mind is probably to just stop digging up fossil fuels and burning them, but I'm keen to hear more.

Read his book. Read Bill Gates book. Sensible (as glibal as possible) CO2 tax, increaseR&D (we need innovation over decades), adaptation (quicker, cheaper, more well directed than general CO2 reductions), economic development (so we better can handle this and other problems)

When we finally address climate change and have decarbonised, avoiding the worst of what could have happened, people like Lomborg will proudly announce "see, it wasn't that big a deal." On that day, irony will manifest as a 5m tall T-rex who will bite him in half.

Most of them should be in school, or is the idea to indoctrinate them and make them totally uneducated so they can't think for themselves.
