They are already cheaper which is why 'big oil' is so worried. Battery storage is becoming more efficient all the time. Renewables are far less likely to bake the planet. You really should try to keep up, and stop spouting gibberish.
Climate policy needs to be smarter: it's not about the rich spending trillions on ineffective renewables. World leaders should instead invest to innovate future green energy to be cheaper than fossil fuels, so everyone can switch.

Climate policy doesn’t need to be smart and for sure doesn’t need to be cheap. It is all about transferring huge money from pockets of taxpayers, businesses and consumers to new and shiny “green” industry. The more expensive it gets, it’s all the better.
