The only solution forward is for the developed countries to offer incentives to reduce Carbon emissions in less developed countries. A Green Tax would be contradictory. The Paris Agreement needs to incentivise rather than force.

It was a political conpromise and non-mandatory at that. When Trump pulled the US out you woulda thought he'd saved the free world. Lesson - if it's easy to do it probably isn't worth much.
