1347-49 were horrendous weather-wise, with bitter cold winters and famine because of failed crops. Oh, and the black death, too. The harsh winters were probably caused by the medieval climate disruption, which in turn was caused by cooking fires and monk farts.

We need a diverse energy systems so that when one source goes down it's not a disaster. This means having reserve capacity as insurance. Sure it costs - insurance always does. But surely it's a price worth paying? Geothermal and tidal energy are rock solid...

Or that CO2 has nothing to do with any of it. A “study” that starts with the assumption that one thing causes another proves nothing. Substitute the number of cell phones in use for CO2 concentration, and you see a similar correlation.
