This runs counter to the conclusion of the UN, who estimate climate change to cost 0.2-2% of GDP pr person in 2070s. Problem, not end of the world

I think the point is that if we do nothing about climate change it will be a serious issue 100-200 years from now– and we also don’t really know exactly how sensitive climate or potential negative feedback loops are, so we should stray on the side of caution
