My wife works in fossil files, I used to sue fossil fuel companies. It was an indelicate balance because there were enough bad actors and her company was a good one. But we agree, even assuming gasoline is out of the picture we require them for petroleum byproducts.

Hi. Adaptation will save human lives but what happens to natural habitats that will - I assume - not be necessarily eligible for such costly adaptative measures ? Are we not risking destroying the environment in a way that will prove terrible in the future ? Or is this alarmist?
