As one who spent 50 years building quantitative models of complicated phenomena, I really doubt we know enough to pinpoint the climate part. But I agree with the general point being made. Most economic models don’t have temperature in them though Tinbergen’s models did.
Yes and if it is only climate change, why are there no fires in Canada? They are experiencing the mildest years of the last decade because...wait for it... they targeted forest management as a solution. Newsom's response: *crickets*

Yup. It's a reluctance to invest in major infrastructure and good management practice. The excuse of calling that the problem is only climate change, lets these companies walk free, and of course in turn, keeps their shareholders happy. Don't reject capitalism, do it properly.
